ATS Landmark Atlas puts the entire public National Register of Historic Places on one map: 74,636 listed buildings, districts, sites, structures and objects, drawn live from the National Park Service Cultural Resources GIS service. Markers are coloured by resource type on a colour-blind-safe palette, and the 1,208 National Historic Landmarks carry a gold star so the nationally significant subset reads at a glance. Search by name or city, narrow by state, resource type or the decade a place was listed, and watch the per-decade histogram redraw from counts the service itself computes. Opening a listing shows its address, county, listing date, contributing-resource counts and reference number — plus a link straight to the nomination file in the National Archives catalog where one has been digitised.
