About ATS Sea State

ATS Sea State puts the condition of the world ocean on one map. A snapshot of the NOAA National Data Buoy Center network colors every wave-reporting station from calm teal through cyan and amber to severe red, while stations without wave sensors stay small and gray. Click a buoy, or drop a probe on any patch of open water anywhere on Earth, and a five-day wave forecast is drawn on the spot: hourly wave height, swell, day gridlines and dual meter and foot axes. Station cards report readings in both metric and imperial units, and the panel offers buoy search, regional quick links and a roughest-seas list.
